Happy New Year! I hope this post finds you happy and healthy in this new year. I have been working on prioritizing my days and have found some extra crafty time — hopefully it continues!
I finished up my Winter Break Journal yesterday (thankfully) and filmed a slightly chatty, but quick flip-thru video on my YouTube page. Check it out if you are so inclined!
After way too much indecision, I decided to use a 4 x 6 photo album I bought from Walmart for 84 cents as the basis. It worked out pretty good. I found the 4 x 6 limit a bit unnerving and I also committed to a very vintage theme, which also created a challenge.
I found some free vintage images online and used a few things from my stash, but I mostly relied upon a printable kit I purchased online from itspaperdear.com. I also lucked out and found some super thrifty deals at JoAnns a few days after Christmas, scoring those cute pom poms, felt snowflakes, and clips.
Overall I am very pleased at all of the wintry whimsy! It was a very fun and easy project to document a special time of the year.
How’s your holiday documenting coming along?
Till next time,
